SARASOTA/BRADENTON, FL – Music Compound is committed to educating all year long, including when school is out for the summer or winter break. To give area students the opportunity to enjoy music instruction while schools are on break, Music Compound is offering one week of Holiday Music Camp, from January 2-6, 2023.

Families can choose from full (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) or half-day (9 a.m.-noon OR 1-4 p.m.) options. Morning sessions are “Intro to Music” while the afternoons feature “Kidz Rock” and “Crafty Musicians.” Grades 1-5 are welcome at the Music Compound MAN location (4740 SR64 E., Bradenton) while grades K-12 are welcome at Music Compound SRQ (1751 Cattlemen Rd., Sarasota).

The Intro to Music courses will cover piano, drums and percussion, guitar and ukulele, and vocals and movement; on Friday, the students will be featured in a musical performance to showcase what they’ve learned.

“Not all families have the opportunity to take long vacations or secure expensive accommodations while students are out of school for the winter break,” said Music Compound owner Jenny Townsend. “Not only do current members have the opportunity to keep their skills sharp and have fun with us during the Holiday Music Camp, it also offers an affordable, unique and fun option for students who may never have participated in a Music Compound program before.”

Cost for the camp is $350/week for full days, $175/week for the half-day option. For additional information, visit musiccompound.com/camps/holidaycamp or call 941-379-9100.
