Music Compound spreads holiday cheer to Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program

Music Compound presented Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program with a donation in the amount of $1,115. The donation was raised at the 4th annual Beer, Bands, and BBQ event. “The Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program was delighted to receive a generous donation from the recent fundraiser. We appreciate the gift from all who participated in this event. This is just in time for the holidays to provide gift cards to many needy local families, and continue our ongoing campaign to feed as many as we can.” Scott Biehler, Executive Director of Mayor’s Feed the Hungry Program, stated. The event was produced by Music Compound in partnership with Jeffrey Arnold, Kids Rock event Chair, and Peter Anderson, Giving Hunger the Blues event chair.
Music Compound will host the 5th Annual Beer, Bands, and BBQ Saturday, March 30th. The event will be hosted at Music Compound downtown in conjunction with The Bazaar at Apricot and Lime. The event will feature local bands and Music Compound students, local craft beer along with domestic, and local dishes with BBQ flare from area restaurants. Proceeds will fund music programs for area youth. The event will be free. VIP tickets can be purchased and will include food samples and beverages.
